The ocean mural was originally inspired as a backdrop to a mosaic octopus sculpture. Over time, the mural took on a life of its own as a place to explore and unify mosaic techniques and materials in a ‘blue mind’ environment.

November 2021- 2nd place in the juried Art Tile, “Sea to Shining Sea”. Virtual Exhibition hosted by Tile Heritage Foundation. Jurors selected the mural for it’s technical excellence and creative interpretation.
